Desde el Comité Argentino de Solidaridad con el Pueblo Palestino llamamos a movilizar

Ante las versiones periodísticas que indican una posible visita a la Argentina del primer ministro israelí, Benjamin Netanyahu, el Comité Argentino de Solidaridad con el Pueblo Palestino repudia la complicidad del gobierno argentino con uno de los máximos responsables del genocidio contra el pueblo de la Franja de Gaza.
El hecho de que, en medio de la hambruna inducida y los crímenes contra la población del territorio costero, que conmueven al mundo, funcionarios del gobierno argentino estén organizando esa visita –el embajador Axel Wahnish y el canciller Gerardo Werthein, según el diario Clarín- marca una inadmisible complicidad que exige la movilización del pueblo argentino.
En la medida que Netanyahu cuenta con una orden de captura por parte de la Corte Internacional de Justicia, debido a crímenes de guerra y de lesa humanidad, la presencia del mandatario israelí en Argentina exigiría una garantía por parte del gobierno de Milei de que no resultará detenido, lo que hace aún más bochornosa la situación.
Si Netanyahu pisa la Argentina, corresponde que se cumpla la orden de detención de la corte internacional y que miles y miles de personas nos movilicemos en las calles.
En paralelo a estas novedades, la firma israelí de aguas, Mekorot, que ya asesora a diez provincias argentinas bajo convenios de confidencialidad, confirmó que está asesorando también a la empresa pública Aysa y que está dispuesta a trabajar con el futuro inversor que se quede con esa compañía, cuando sea privatizada. Mekorot es una pieza clave del genocidio contra el pueblo palestino, ya que priva de ese recurso vital a la población de Gaza y Cisjordania.
Por todo esto, el próximo sábado 2 nos concentraremos frente al palacio de Aysa (Córdoba y Riobamba, Buenos Aires) a las 16hs. para reclamar “Fuera Mekorot de Argentina”, y para el 9 impulsamos una primera movilización de repudio a la visita de Netanyahu.
No al genocidio. Fuera las tropas israelíes de Palestina, Siria y Líbano. Viva la lucha del pueblo palestino. Ruptura de relaciones con Israel. Cancelación del acuerdo Mercosur-Israel. Basta de persecución contra quienes se solidarizan con el pueblo palestino.

The Argentine Committee of Solidarity with the Palestinian People calls for mobilization

In response to press reports indicating a possible visit to Argentina by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Argentine Committee of Solidarity with the Palestinian People denounces the Argentine government’s complicity with one of the main perpetrators of the genocide against the people of the Gaza Strip.

That, in the midst of the induced famine and crimes against the coastal population—shocking the world—Argentine government officials are organizing such a visit (including Ambassador Axel Wahnish and Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein, according to Clarín), reveals an unacceptable level of complicity that demands mass mobilization by the Argentine people.

Given that Netanyahu is the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity, his presence in Argentina would require a guarantee from the Milei administration that he will not be arrested—making this situation all the more disgraceful.

If Netanyahu sets foot in Argentina, the international arrest warrant must be executed, and thousands upon thousands of us must take to the streets in protest.

Meanwhile, the Israeli water company Mekorot—which already advises ten Argentine provinces under confidentiality agreements—has confirmed that it is also advising the public utility AYSA and is prepared to work with the future investor who takes over the company once it is privatized. Mekorot plays a key role in the genocide of the Palestinian people, as it denies this vital resource to the population of Gaza and the West Bank.

For all these reasons, on Saturday the 2nd we will gather at 4 PM in front of the AYSA headquarters (Córdoba and Riobamba, Buenos Aires) to demand “Mekorot Out of Argentina”. And on the 9th, we are calling for a first mobilization to reject Netanyahu’s visit.

No to genocide. Israeli troops out of Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon. Long live the Palestinian struggle. Break relations with Israel. Cancel the Mercosur-Israel agreement. Stop the persecution of those who show solidarity with the Palestinian people.
