Judíes x Palestina (Jews for Palestine) is part of an international movement of Jews who reject Zionism and its supremacist and genocidal policies, as well as colonization and apartheid. Along with more than 20 groups from 15 countries, we are part of the GLOBAL JEWS FOR PALESTINE network. We say “Not in our name” in Argentina, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, South Africa, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and beyond.

Originally called the Jewish Collective for Justice in Palestine, its founders came together to combat the instrumentalization of antisemitism through the definition promoted by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). The scope of the group’s agreements and actions quickly expanded to comprehensively support the Palestinian people’s struggle for liberation.

Together with GJP, we engage in collective debates, publish international statements, and organize activities and coordinated global actions in the struggle for justice.

Mission Statement – Global Jews for Palestine

We are Jews from diverse countries, who are members of local, national and international networks and organizations. We are multi-ethnic and multigenerational and our members embrace a broad range of viewpoints on Jewish religious and ethical traditions. We are connected by our involvement in the struggle for Palestinian rights, and by our determination to work for justice. We oppose Zionism and all forms of racism. 

We initially came together to share our experiences of opposing the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism – a document that is being used to shield Israel from valid political challenge and to suppress support for Palestinian rights. Since our founding in 2019, we have come to see our purpose as creating a powerful and effective global Jewish voice advocating for Palestinian liberation. We believe that it is our particular responsibility to challenge Jewish organizations whose alliances and actions thwart Palestinian human rights, promote Jewish exceptionalism and obscure Jewish social justice traditions. At the heart of our work is the fight for Palestinian freedom and the struggle for a world free of racial and ethnic hierarchy, colonial domination and unbridled militarism.
